Man Beside The Train

Man Beside The Train

How & Where It Was Captured:

This picture was taken at Railway Station of Quetta,Pakistan by me with just my iPhone when I saw a person sitting beside the train.
Setting:
Ø  Shutter Speed: 1/100
Ø  Focus: 2.24.15mm
Ø  ISO: 25

Photography is all about light, you can’t apply any settings on your camera first you have to see the environmental condition then you can put the suitable settings for you camera. Better use manual settings because by using manual settings you’ll get the desire photo what you want you can change everything in manual mode like, shutter speed, focus, ISO, aperture, etc. In starting it will take so much time for of a single shot but slowly you will get better in it by just looking the condition you will get to know which setting will be suitable for that condition.
When I captured this photo that was evening time and a cloudy weather which is a perfect time and a perfect condition for a landscape or portrait photography because the light coming from the sun is so smooth in such conditions. I used my mobile built-in editing tool to edit it, I prefer Black and White effect for this photo because it gives more detail of the Photo and lefts an untold story behind It.

Story:

The train was passing from the station. That train was from Quetta to Peshawar, the trip takes approximately 34hrs, 10 minutes to cover the distance of 1,632 kilometers having 32 stops in its way. The man smiling face shows that may be this train reminds him about the great journey which he had once, or he may be thinking about all those who are going back to their homes (many people comes to Quetta to do some kind of business or to find work there in Quetta). That was my assumption when I saw that man but after capturing my photo of him I asked the permission of posting his photo in my blog and I also asked the reason that why he was smiling then he told me that:
“I used to go Peshawar in my college days because I was getting my college’s education there in a good college. I got scholarship for five years from 8th standard to 12th standard, so I just shifted from my old college to a college in Peshawar.  By chance I came to the station and saw this train passing so my all journeys which I had from Quetta to Peshawar came into my mind which made me smile may those were so hard because it is a huge journey from here to Peshawar on a train and I traveled alone because my father was used to be busy with his job so I traveled all my those journeys alone, those journeys were tough because I was leaving my all family behind and my city behind to get education there in Peshawar. Despite of it those journeys were so awesome those are so memorable days of my life which are never forgettable.
Those journeys thought me many things for my life which made me bold to travel the whole world alone giving me a confidence and thought me that how to talk to strangers. Those journeys told me the real meaning of traveling and real joy of it. Also thought me the real meaning of life that whatever happens life never stops, stops are just temporary it is a journey it moves on like a travelling train”
